What invalidates warranty on Apple devices?

Unauthorized tampering. Given the detection of device tampering from an unauthorized technician and/or that the device presents with unauthorized modifications, we will not be able to proceed with the device repair whether the device is under warranty or out of warranty.

Physical damage. Our technicians must evaluate the physical conditions of the device and if damage is found, they won’t be able to proceed with the warranty process.

Water damage. Apple devices have a built-in sensor to detect the presence of liquid, which invalidates the warranty.
